6:40 PM · Dusk
The day is still running through you
Run before work. Calls. A lift at lunch. Tennis in the afternoon, more calls after. It was a good day, the kind you'd post. But every hour of output pulled magnesium out through your sweat, and your nervous system has been working all day.

10:00 PM · Lights out
You lie down, but you don't power down
The lights go off. The body doesn't. A full-output day leaves the system still humming, a low current under the calm. You're tired, but you can't really reach deep sleep.
This is the cause.
2:30 AM · The deep hours
Hours of sleep, not enough depth
the sleep stays shallow. Deep sleep is the stage where muscle actually repairs and the nervous system resets. Tonight you barely hit deep sleep.
This is the battleground.5:55 AM · First light
The alarm comes too soon
Morning arrives before the repair ever finished. Legs heavy before they've touched the floor. The body spent eight hours in bed and came back with a fraction of what it needed.

6:12 AM · The number
The watch says 18%
You wake to a sleep score in the red. You try and get your morning run in but your achy muscles stop you from getting your shoes on. Your body is telling you, you spent the night in bed and not really asleep.
This is the proof.
